Anna rushed to the door at the sound of the bell. It was 12.30 on the dot and there was no questioning who stood on the other side of the barrier. She stopped on the mat, hand poised, and realised she wasn’t ready to open the door to face Lauren. She could feel her heart thumping through her chest. Her breathing was hurried, her palms sweating and her hands were shaking. She needed to calm and compose herself. She felt weak, yet alive, and prayed her legs wouldn’t give way when she caught sight of Lauren. It was only a couple of nights since they had kissed, the memory of which lingered in every cell of her body. That kiss had penetrated her soul like no other. She hoped Lauren felt the same way. She had definitely been affected and they had both needed to exert huge self-control to stop before they would have certainly ripped each other’s clothes off. But was it just about sex? There was nothing Anna wanted to do more than make love to Lauren, but fear, and timing, had taken control of her brain and urged caution so she had over-ridden her basic desires and walked away. But, she wasn’t sure she had the will or the strength to do so again.

Her mums were in their room getting changed for lunch. Anna had been ready for the last half-hour, and fidgeting ever since. She had changed outfit three times, not really sure what look she was going for, but searching nonetheless. In the end, she had opted for her light blue skinny jeans, white shirt and autumnal patterned silk jacket with matching scarf. The jacket had been designed for her curves and fit perfectly. She breathed deeply three times then turned the solid lock to open the door. Her heart skipped a beat then stopped as her eyes met Lauren’s. A soft groan fell off her lips and she was sure she was about to faint, as she scanned the dark Corsican woman standing on the threshold. Her short curly hair, soft chocolate-dark brown eyes and athletic build, stood in black jeans, baby blue shirt and a long black jacket. With a seductive smile planted across her face, Anna gasped for air. ‘Wow…’

‘Wow back at you,’ Lauren said, as she gazed up and down, pausing at various points to admire the perfection standing before her. ‘Mmm…’ she growled. Anna felt naked, but not in an uncomfortable way. Warmth spread through her as lust consumed her body with Lauren’s sensual gaze. ‘Shall I come in?’ Lauren asked at the frozen woman now blocking the doorway.

‘Sure… come in… sorry… distracted!’ Anna fumbled, regaining some composure before Lauren brushed past her to enter the hallway, leaning in to softly place a kiss on her cheek. A musky sweet scent floated into the space, as Lauren started to remove her coat, and assaulted Anna’s senses. The brief but lingering contact caused tingling sensations to accompany the rising heat and increasing wetness in the blushing woman.
